I’m Yaakov and I welcome you to the So Real Blog.

I have a diverse educational background. I have studied biology and Plant physiology at the university level and have a degree to show for it. I am also certified in Massage therapy and reflexology.

I am married to my life partner, a beautiful, intelligent woman of many talents, who understands my obsessions. We are Partners with the almighty in the blessing of four handsome, clever, athletic boys. It is for them and through them that our blessings accrue.

So Real brings together the talents of many Writers, Speakers, Life Coaches, and Scientists. Hopefully you will come to know them as we study together. Many of these teachers cross boundaries and disciplines in there search for truth, and I trust and pray that I will do justice to their teachings.

The So Real Blog which I will edit and principally author is a place for us to explore ideas, teach and fully develop concepts into truly revolutionary thoughts.

Using the Blog format, I will enlist your aid and that of the universal law, to create a whole far greater than the sum of its parts. Using the tools of gratitude and passion to improve ourselves, and the universe as a whole.

For the past four years I have been studying the law of attraction, first from the works of Wallace Wattles, and William Atkinson. My interest has recently been enhanced by exposure to the film and book, The Secret.

I have been a passionate reader and writer since childhood. My interest in books began almost as soon as I could read, devouring books as soon as I got them from the library.

In junior high school, I began writing, mostly science fiction and fantasy, later doing a few stints in journalism. Lately, I have been blogging for fun and profit. I create lighter attractions at www.e-volveit.com.

I have been equally passionate about personal growth. I credit my exposure to Jewish wisdom, both Rabbinic and Mystical, which stress many of the elements shared by Manifestation and the Law of attraction.

I have become more aware of myself and the world around me. We are committed to the the concept of Tikkun Olam (completion of the world) and truly believe that through teaching individuals and groups to improve themselves we improve the general completeness of the broader world.
